1. Visual inspection
Visual inspection test is very importnat and speedy test,
especially its cable / s. The cables must be firmly anchored in plugs, solid
connections without frayed ends. Copper terminals must be clean and free of
pitting.
Plugs must be in good position,there should be no sign of
melting of plug or heating of a plugs. Through Visula inspection of cable we can easliy and see that cable is
fine or if we find any cuts or cracks then we must fix them. Visula inspection
represents 80% of the whole test process.
2. Polarity
Cables , power boards and other devices like these must be
tested through polarity test., and it is confirmed that the active, neutral and
especially the Earth are not wired incorrectly.
3.Insulation resistance
Insulation resistance test applyacable on all the electrical
equipment that remain in contact with
water. This test show that if there are some breaking and craking in the lead its mean it has low insulation resistance.
4.Earth resistance
This test will pass a larger current (up to 25 Amp) through
the wire to ensure that the ground wire has a strong connection
Earth leakage / Touch leak
A leak test must be performed on a circuit that must be
energized to turn it on. that is, circuits with electronic switches. The device
is tested under load and the amount of current leaking from the circuit is
tested
The label itself
A label will be applied to the end of the appliance cable
plug. The date of the test, the date on which it should be retested and who
tested it will be clearly indicated.
Database
A complete test record will be based on data, including;
asset identification; Test results; sites and locations; date of retest;
description of the asset, brand and serial number; and any additional notes
that our testing and labeling specialists wish to include.
